Intensive Care Medicine Registrars

Intensive Care Medicine Registrars - hear from one of our own Registrars.

Why train as an Intensive Care Medicine registrar in the Auckland region?

You could gain exposure to all specialities and sub-specialities, with opportunities for allocation for your non-ICU time. Get the opportunity to experience cardiothoracic, neuro, burns and trauma. We are the only region that offers access to the full range of transplants. Auckland also has the only specialised PICU in the country.

You can complete your full training without having to leave the Auckland region.

Rotating through different ICUs in our three Districts, gives you the opportunity to gain exposure to different methods and to experience a wide range of diverse presentations across Auckland’s broad patient demographics.
